The author explained their ^{(weibo profile says male but I've seen others refer to them as female so idk)} absence in a brief weibo post, in short, it seems like they've been struggling to make an income from their writing and they weren't able to continue working with some of the people they were working before, so they were taking a break, but they do want to continue writing Life Going Wild 2 (whose title is actually closer to "The Most Deadly Carrying System" but idk who translated it originally) and the story is going to focus more on Jun Wuwang. I was debating whether or not to translate the second part after finishing the first, since it's been stuck at 19 chapters since 2020, but since it seems like the author hasn't abandoned it I'll just keep my eye on it and see how it develops.

Also, along with their miraculous return, the author has dropped a NEW sci-fi bl novel, whose title translates to “Becoming the White Moonlight’s Human Weapon After My Death (死后成了白月光的人形武器)”. From what I understand by the author’s posts, it was originally meant to be a manhua but since they couldn’t sell the rights they turned it into a novel? Anyway, look at this beautiful art. (Whoops looks like the og post got deleted? But I found a copy on a spanish FB group lol) It's got 9 chapters so far, below is a translation of the synopsis:

I really recommend checking it out if you're interested, but I know MTLing from jjwxc is a pain lol. I'm considering translating this for as long as it remains free to read, I'm not too sure, but either way it would have to be after I'm done with life going wild. Anyone interested?
